Obsessive scientist Dr Pretorius and his assistant Crawford Tillinghast have invented The Resonator, a device intended to stimulate the brain and expand the powers of the mind. When a parallel universe inhabited by creatures ready to prey on humans reveals itself, Pretorious meets a sticky end only to return as a grotesque being and all manner of depravity ensues.
